2. Contract

You will receive the contract by e-mail. Everything all right? Sign your contract digitally via DocuSign. Without any paperwork.

3. Get on the bike

Your company is added to our platform. Now you choose the bike of your dreams. The sky is the limit: you can choose from any type of bike and brand.

4. Administration

We've got you covered. An export of our digital platform provides you with all the necessary information for your administration. Enjoy your cycling!

Can I lease a bicycle as a self-employed individual?

Absolutely! It is also attractive for a self-employed entrepreneur to lease a bicycle. Nearly the same guidelines apply for employers & employees for you. You could decide to pay the bicycle in name of the company by deducting it from your salary and still enjoy the tax benefit. Talk to your accountant for the details!

What tools do I need to use the Lease a Bike platform?

To use the Lease a Bike platform, all you need is a PC with internet access and a recent browser. You can already register your company via this LINK.

I have an SME with 5 employees, can I lease a bicycle for one of them?

Certainly! Register your company via our online form; we will then review it and provide you with a response within three business days.

What lease durations are available?

We adhere to the standard lease duration, which is 36 months.

How is the maintenance arranged?

All contracts concluded by Lease a Bike are standard with all-risk insurance (without franchise) and 24/7 roadside assistance. You could also add a service package of choice. For example:

1. Basic - Covers up to € 100 in repairs and maintenance per year

2. Standard - Covers up to € 175 in repairs and maintenance per year

3. Premium - Covers all repairs and maintenance without limit

4. Plus - Covers up to € 330 in repairs and maintenance per year

How time-consuming will administration of this mobility plan be?

Lease a Bike offers a fully digital and automated platform where all relevant processes and parties come together. We truly make it easy to lease your dream bicycle!

What happens at the end of the lease?

We make an offer for the employee to take over the bicycle for +- 15% of the value (new). The exact amount cannot be determined on forehand and depends on the final condition of the bicycle. If the employee is not interested in taking over the bicycle, we will take the bicycle back - free of charge. There is never a risk for the employee or employer here.
