Bicycle Leasing for Teachers Starting Soon!
Bicycle leasing continues to gain popularity, and thanks to a decision by the Flemish government, educational staff will soon be able to benefit from it as well. The ministerial decree will take effect just before the start of the new school year. This means that teachers will officially be able to lease a bicycle from January 1, 2025, financed through their year-end bonus. B2Bike is pleased that the Flemish government is further advancing sustainable mobility and responding to schools' demand to offer a lease bicycle for their staff.

For Whom?
The scheme applies to teachers and educational staff at primary and secondary schools. Academies for part-time art education, boarding schools, student guidance centers, and colleges are also covered by the new scheme.
Depending on the school, it is the educational umbrella organization and/or the school board that decides whether to offer a scheme, on what timeline, and with which leasing partner they will work. B2Bike has already done its homework and is fully prepared to develop customized bicycle solutions for educational institutions! The Scheme for Teachers and Educational Staff:
Teachers and other educational staff will be able to use all or part of their gross year-end bonus to lease a bicycle through the school or educational institution. If you work for multiple school boards and they all offer bicycle leasing, you will need to choose which institution you finalize a lease agreement with.
